PADI Asia Pacific Pty Ltd is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO #6729) that complies with the Australian Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) and is registered with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) – Australia’s national regulator – to deliver Vocational Education & Training (VET) qualifications. This allows PADI RTO to issue Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) certificates, called Statements of Attainment.
PADI RTO (#6729) is not registered with the Australian Government in the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) and as such is unable to offer diving and snorkelling courses to people studying in Australia on student visas. However, authorised PADI RTO Trainers can deliver the first aid units of competencies (HLTAID009 to HLTAID016) to students studying in Australia on a Student Visa. A selection of short courses and stand-alone units of competencies are exempt under the Education Services for Overseas Students (Exempt Courses) Instrument 2021 (ESOS Act).
PADI RTO Trainers provide comprehensive, learner-centred and instructionally valid vocational training in Australia. To ensure exceptionally high quality, the training is combined with a proactive quality management system.
On an international scale, PADI is the World’s leading scuba diving training organisation with more than fifty years of experience, over 128,000 PADI Professionals and more than 6,600 dive shops and resorts worldwide.
