Inspect and Fill Scuba Cylinders
PADI RTO has recently added the SISOSCB307A Inspect and fill SCUBA cylinders unit of competency to its scope of registration with ASQA. Students that successfully complete the unit will be able to conduct visual inspections of SCUBA cylinders and fill SCUBA diving cylinders. The unit applies to current or aspiring SCUBA dive guides or instructors who are responsible for the maintenance of SCUBA cylinders. Anaphylaxis Management
Anaphylaxis is a severe allergic reaction and potentially life threatening. It should always be treated as a medical emergency, requiring immediate treatment. Most of the first aid units of competency from the HLT Training Package include knowledge and skills for anaphylaxis management. The Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy website at http://www.allergy.org.au/ provides a great variety of tools and information about anaphylaxis management.
